About Me

My real name is Allison.  I’m a middle-class working woman with a wonderful job, husband, home, family, dog and more.  I don’t have a white picket fence in front of my house, but probably should.  My life is nowhere near perfect, but I love it.  My husband and I are expecting our first child the end of February 2010 and are thrilled and scared to death all at the same time.  I don’t have any qualifications to be writing this blog.  I created it as an outlet for myself. It’ll be about pregnancy, being a new mom, and whatever else comes my way. I sub-titled it “ordinary, extraordinary” because that’s exactly how I view my world and my life – it’s really nothing special to anyone but me.  And to me, it’s extraordinary.
